Ko pri twingu prizges luci, se osvetlitev zaslona ugasne oz zmanjsa. Pri tem soncu je vcasih nemogoce ugotoviti kaj gor pise. A se da kak simpl to resit? Kot ima recimo toyota yaris, stisnes gumb pa se osvetli.

Preventing dimming of the light in the speedometer - a solution

In Denmark it is mandatory to use the headlights, even in the daytime, so the Twingo "feature" of dimming the speedometer light when the headlights are turned on, can be rather annoying. Especially when the roof is open, it's almost impossible to read the speedometer display when the sun is shining.
So here's a solution. Be aware, though, that you run the risk of turning off the alarm that usually sounds if you leave the car with the lights on. You will need a piece of cable with 3 wires and a switch (see below).
You remove the top panel, surrounding the speedometer, it is fastened with 3 torque-screws. There's not too much space to do this, but it's possible.
You will notice a small group of wires running to the speedometer. Locate the blue and the black wire.
Cut the blue wire and connect each end to two of the wires in your cable.
Connect the third of the wires in your cable to the black wire to the speedometer.
Finally, mount a switch in the other end of the cable.
The switch is to used to connect the blue speedometer wire to either the old blue wire (as before) or to the black wire (which is connected to ground).
If the switch is in this last position, the speedometer light will not be dimmed when you turn on the headlights. But be aware, that in this position, the alarm will no longer sound if you leave the car with the lights on.

Red speedometer display illumination for Twingo

Clip off the masse-cable (-) of the battery from the battery.
Screw off the three fixing bolts of the overhead part of the dashboard.
Save the inner cover of the right outside mirror against scratches with splicing tape.
Raise up the overhead part of the dashboard on the right side a bit, so that the left side of the turning on outside mirror will be exposed.
Remove the three fixing bolts of the central-display and than pull off the connector on the backside.
Thereafter the display has to be unscrewed. There are only two screws on the backside. All the rest is only sticked together.
Thereafter you remove the back cover.
Next you move out carefully the circuit board off the display.
Put the blue foil on the red Leitz PVC map and than draw the contures with a black waterproofed felt pen which writes on foils.
Than cut off the whole thing and lay the red foil into the display. Built it all together again und enjoy the bright red color.

Da ti malo pomagam - tiste zicke nimam pojma kaj je katera, poskusi pomeriti z V-metrom. Dobi napetost ko prizges parkirne luci npr. Tam potem lahko montiras stikalo vmes.
Za zarnice pa ne vem, meni se zdi da so take kot povsod - bele, in je potem za zeleno barvo folija na stevcu/displayu. Ce zamenjas zarnice z rdecimi, sploh ne bo vec nic svetilo (rdeca cez zeleno folijo ne pride).
Lahko pa da se motim in so res zelene zarnice, ampak mislim da niso.

zmontiral, dela tako kot mora .) Ce stikalo potem "izklopim" piska ce pustim luci prizgane, medtem na drugi poziciji ne piska. Ampak to ni problema. Hvala se enkrat.
A to foljo je ze probal kdo menjavat? Se dobro pol vidi? Meni bi rdeca lih dobro sedla k moji notranjosti
