From early 2005 we will be able to supply and fit our new turbo kit to the 172, Cup and 182 Clio models. The kit has been undergoing testing and has proven to be very reliable as well as making the car extremely quick. The main parts of the kit will be the custom turbocharger, cast tubular manifold, forged ceramically coated low compression pistons, total seal piston rings, external wastegate for precise boost control, KTR front mounted intercooler with stainless steel intercooler piping, custom downpipe, uprated injectors, induction kit, dump valve, battery relocation kit, uprated clutch and ECU modifications to cater for the turbo conversion. There are also several smaller parts included to make a neat, reliable installation. There will also be the option of forged con rods for those wanting to run more than the standard 10psi. At this boost level you will see approx. 240bhp with similar levels of torque making the Clio an incredibaly fast car. It is also woth considering brake and suspension upgrades to help get the best out of the car with this kit fitted. At present we expect the kit to cost around £5800 including VAT and labour and we would need the car for 2 weeks to carry out the work. The kit can be fitted to the Clio 172, Cup and 182. We would also like to note there is no cutting of any metal work on the car in order to fit the kit.

Avtomobilcek ima 225konjev, masina 2,0 turbo. Cena okol 7 mio.

smo ga gledal ze v avstriji (baje ni kej presenetljivega).

clio pa mora pipat ker vse kar so tam napisal da nardijo za ta dnar in da dobis pol se kao garancijo na vse....uhhh....

fora v tem turbo kitu je da so poskusal nemci pa nizozemci turbo dat na normalno masino in je zdej okoli 10 cliotov 2.0 s turbinami ki stojijo v garazi ki so jim masine pocrkale.

Zato taka cena za predelavo ker drugace turbo ni primeren za ta motor.

tole bo mal offtopic:
to je delna resnica! v 1. novembrski stevilki Avtomagazina so testiral 12 avtomobilov na mobikrogu (skupaj cez 2000KM) in med njimi je bil tudi Megane RS! samo eno pomankljivost so napisal za ta avto in to je, da se ne da cist ESPja izklopi in so mel s tem probleme, ker ce se je prehitr v ovink prpelu, je se vedno elektronika posredovala, ceprav to ni bilo zazeljeno! drugace so ga zelo pohvalal, motor zelo dober, lega tudi, peljal pa je 1:13.5 (tuki nekje), kar je zelo, zelo hitro za avto s sprednjim pogonom (rekord ima ena hrvaska integra nekje malega cez 1:13).. ..za primerjavo clio 182 pelje 1:15.00, tko de ne mores rect de ni kaj presenetljivega!

kokr so napisal, ce bi se pa dal 100% izklopit ESP in vsa pomagala pri legi na cesti, bi peljali pod 1:13!!!


drugac more pa tale clio pipat!

The long anticipated wait is finally over. After extensive testing on
the track, the rolling road and the German autobahn, the BB 172 Turbo
charger conversion for the Clio sport RS 172 / 182 / Cup is now available
to the general public. The conversions are available now and producing
at least 250 BHP and at least 250lb of torque making for one of the
most exciting drives ever as I can well testify after hitting 160mph on
the Autobahn on the way too and from this years recent Essen motor show.
Certainly surprised a few Porsche and M3 drivers! As you would expect,
a Renault Clio with 250 BHP on tap and a sub 5 second (estimated) 0-60
time is going to give a few bigger cars quite a surprise!

Now whilst this might sound like a marketing ploy, our level of
technology, our years of experience and our abilities to manipulate the
Renault ECU to what ever levels of performance we require mean that we can
back these claims up with hard proof and facts. Rather then use
additional fuelling systems and fashionable rather then functional components,
we have retained as much of the factory Renault set up as possible to
help ensure quality and performance. Larger fuel injectors, Hybrid turbo
charger and a high efficiency charge cooler are just a selection of the
many items that help keep the massive power gains in check, all backed
up by our ECU re-programming to ensure smooth power delivery and
impressive driveability.

Of course you dont have to take my word for it and indeed it does
sound almost too good to be true, we could hardly believe how successful
the conversion is ourselves (makes you wonder why Renault didnt do it
in the first place?). Log onto our website over the next few days
however and we will be displaying power graphs, pictures and videos of the
172 in action.

To all those who have been e-mailing us over the past year, Id like
to take the oppurtunaty to thank you for your continued interest and to
apologise for the minimal amount of contact on our part. We where due
to have an automated e-mail service in place to stay better in contact
with our customers, this unfortunatly has apparantly not been effective
enough and is something we are addressing in the future.
